All Schools Reunion
The Delta School
The Delta School

This all schools reunion is meant for anyone that lived in Delta at any time during their schooling and attended any school whether it was public, private, homeschool or alternative.

It's a small town, it's a way to have school reunions and get to see others from other classes...it's inclusionary, not exclusionary which means, you're invited.

Informal, fun and what better time to have it than during the 2010 Deltana Fair?

The Deltana Fair is July 30 - August 1

  • If you are planning a reunion and are from the class of 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, & 2000 and would like to to combine your events or list your reunion here, just email me and we'll post it.
  • Also, why not plan to contact your friends, family and classmates and prepare a mini-reunion around this larger event?  That way, you'd be able to see others too!

Delta All Schools Reunion Photo with families.  Over 100 people were at the Beer Garden the night before.  No photos from that unfortunately.  Maybe in 2015.  I was approached by 3 alumni who would like to assist with the 2015 event.  Thank you Ursula, Ruth and Heather.  We'll be in touch.

Folks visited, shared stories and laughed.  It was fun to be a part of it. Seeing the children of Delta schooled folks was heartwarming. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedules and making the effort to attend.

Remember, you don't have to be an alumni, you just have to have attended any schooling in Delta or Fort Greely at any time during your life.  It's really about catching up and seeing old friends.

Dale Diviney, I think, was the one who'd been from the oldest class in Delta while Ruby Bynum and John Netardus were from the most recent. Some families such as the Bond, Bevards, Scifres and Luddingtons gathered.  Others, like Robert Gilpin, came from California.  Candice Rogers traveled with family from Washington, D.C. and her sister, Andrea, came from Arizona.  Vicki Jurgens came along with her mom, Home Ec Teacher, Mrs. Jurgens. Robin Joslin and Mike Smith  are one of the married "Delta couples" along with Sarah Wright and Rob Bevard, Mike Bobo and Leslie Hollembaek, Chris Willis and Heather Ludington, Lacie Wheeling and Justin Smith and Buckley Hollembaek and Christy Schneckenberger.  Duane Toth traveled from another country. Some locals like Tommy Sauer, Paul Hebert, Ruth Keaster, Norm Cosgrove, Lacey Wheeling, Travis Ipson and Eric Lintleman reside in Delta.  Ursula, Sally Koberowski and Anita Handley came up from Anchorage. The list continues and the night before the Beer Garden was hopping with many more folks.

Deltana Fair Music Festival Stage Schedule.  You will see names like Simple Folk Uprising that consisted of retired teachers from Delta and more.  Also, Donna Ashby is the mom of alumni Golden and Alicia.  Then there is out own Ricky Corrado who hails from Delta and is alumni.  Mike Kingstsn is the dad of alumni and there are more.  The music was incredible.  Next year I hope the fair can erect shelter over the stands so we can sit in the bleachers protected by the sun and rain.  The music festival lends such a great atmosphere for the Deltana Fair.

Friday evening  the Pipeline Run in the Late Night Sun was a success with 110 participants.

The Deltana Fair was the place to meet Saturday on the midway and later at the Beer Garden.  (Funny, no one remembered to take a picture there but I heard Patsy ran out of beer and sodas).

1 PM Sunday was a  family style picnic at the Fairgrounds.
